I always make time for breakfast even in a rush. If you are the type of person who can’t live without their morning fuel but find yourself stuck for time in the morning, then I’m here to help you out.
Preparation is key for a fast paced lifestyle.
So here is a super easy & quick oats recipe you can prepare the night before & simply pop in the fridge for the morning.
50g of rolled oats
200-250ml of water or a plant based milk
1 sliced banana
Handful of blueberries
Optional: near empty jar of nut-butter
What to do:
Place the oats, half a sliced banana, & the water/plant-based milk into a microwavable bowl.
Microwave for 3-4 minutes until the the liquid has been absorbed & the oats are cooked. (stirring half way)
Remove from the microwave & leave to cool for 5 minutes.
Spoon the oats into a near empty nut-butter jar or airtight container until halfway full.
Place a layer of the remaining banana slices, a handful blueberries to the jar mix & cover with the rest of the oats.
Add any remaining banana slices or blueberries on top.
Seal tightly & refrigerate overnight!
Remove in the morning & enjoy!
