I am a big lover for smoothie bowls.
I especially love them post workout because my body craves carbs on carbs to refuel. I always make sure to add some form of protein & healthy fats using nut butter & seeds. Sometimes I’ll also add one scoop of my fave vegan protein too! I find that adding that little bit of extra protein & healthy fats keeps me feeling satisfied & fuller for longer!
Below I’ve shared one of my favourite smoothie bowl recipes made with banana, mango & oats.
The perfect breakfast sweet treat!
For the Smoothie Mix:
1 large banana (frozen if you want an extra thick smoothie bowl)
1/2 large mango
30g of oats
1 TBSP of nut-butter ( I used the coconut almond butter by Pip & Nut)
150ml of plant based milk ( I used coconut milk by Alpro)
Blend all of the ingredients together until smooth & creamy.
Small handful of coconut flakes & rose petals
1 tsp of pumpkin seeds
1 TBSP of pomegranate seeds
You can also use any topping you like!
